Scooters Coffee House | Omaha – I am writing this blog Thursday evening in a conference room while waiting for my son to get done with basketball practice. This place is great… Nice atmosphere for getting things done with smooth music in the background.
My focus here is the drive thru locations. I frequent one in particular at 96th and Q Street. My morning drive to work starts off at 5.45am with a friendly visit and warm coffee. The people there make a difference. One lady in particular knows all of us and what our usual order is. I also met the owner, name escapes me, but he is just like his workers, great personality, thankful for the business and willing to serve clients. These people are always “chipper” and ready to start a conversation with you. Great drive-thru service!!!
This company gets it. Their facebook page has over 5,500 fans. Their main asset is great people and they know how to hire the right people to make it work. Their turnover must be low too. I have been a faithful client since last spring and I still see the same people working.
Their focus is serving clients…that should always be the focus… It works well…I will continue to follow this company in 2010 and provide more updates…Now I must quit and enjoy my drink..
