Starting a wave of cooperation and commitment to working relationships

Is it me or have organizations, companies and individuals become too isolated from each other.

Sometimes when you dig deeper, you find out the issue was the result of some incident that ocurred 5, 10 or more years ago.

Other times, from an outside perspective you can see a particular company falling off or a tradeshow falling in attendance. Isn’t it our responsibility as a friend, vendor or client to communicate our concerns.  The only way the failing operation may know is if  those of us are close to the situation make suggestions.

Often times, everyone goes about their business and is looking out for their own interests, especially when the economy heads south.

However, lately, I have found if you open up and encourage each other to improve relationships, work on issues that may have been problems in the past and resolve those, the benefits can become viral and spread like a splash and soon others are jumping aboard and the “I” is replaced with “we”.

This type of momemtum is very refreshing and can really energize people.

Social Media can be a big part of this movement.

Isn’t it time to speak up, what good does it do to see more companies, tradeshows and organizations fail.
