Wow – I cannot believe all of the great projects and community that is happening at Midwest Laboratories. All of our employees are wiped out by the end of the day. The phone is ringing off the hook. Our lab people are constantly working on samples coming in the doors. Its an incredible scene. There is an excitement at Midwest Laboratories.
I enjoy giving tours of the laboratory and I have given a couple in the past few days. I always point out to guests that you will never see anyone standing around. No time for it! However, if you ask a worker a question, they will take the time to share their experience with you.
One of our client services reps was in a meeting with myself and others and she went back to her desk and had 15 voice messages in a 2-hour span.
It’s an exciting time! What I have found is that collaboration is the key! When our people collaborate internally, it spreads virally and people are excited to talk about their work, their clients and their job. We really talked about these items at our recent Midwest Laboratories Marketing Meetings. I can honestly say it has spilled over to my dealings with clients and vendors too. Its very, very cool!
