Following Flooding on the Platte and Elkhorn Rivers
Overnight another heavy rain hit Eastern Nebraska. Rivers are cresting and flood warnings have been issues for areas surrounding the Platte and Elkhorn Rivers in Nebraska. My first response, I want to see video coverage. How bad is it?
I don’t have time to drive next to the river. I am very curious.. My first reaction was to go to the local Newspaper and Television stations, their video was from last night’s news. I saw that already. This is a developing story.
Where is the Live Video?
This is where the playing field can even between the small players and the big players.

Nebraska State Governor Heineman’s Facebook Page
- The State Governor has posted flood pictures on his Facebook Page | Posted at 11.24am 6/14/2010
I still cannot find any live video from today, 6/14/10 on the internet of any flooding occurring along the Platte or Elkhorn Rivers. (This would be a great time for someone to post a video on YouTube)
Summary
The takeaway is how can your company rise to the occasion and give your client some valuable piece of information.
I’ll keep checking google for the latest video coverage. As soon as I find some video today I will post it.
