Flooding issues continue…
The flooding has taken its toll to the tune of $16 million dollars and Governor Heineman is seeking federal assistance for 53 counties in Nebraska. The high waters are also canceling many 4th of July activities and the rescheduling of state baseball games.
Project Safe Water Update…
Today, June 30, 2010 a total of 99 water analysis kits have been sent out to flood victims in Nebraska and Iowa. As people are working through their flood issues, I wanted to take this time and thank all of you for getting the word out to those people could really use this service.
Please help us continue to reach out to those in the community. Midwest Laboratories has allocated a total of 500 water supplies and analysis through the month of July and would like to make more people aware of this service to flood victims.
