What is your reason for celebrating today?
Freedom is often times overlooked. Even with all of the disasters around us, floods, oil spills, job loss, all of us have a choice. Given freedoms in this country is quite a blessing. I reminded that today as it continues to rain. I cannot remember the last time that it rained this much on the 4th of July. My kids keep asking if the parade will happen at 1.00pm or if there will be fireworks tonight.
The celebration will not stop. Our friends can still come over, but maybe we will be inside. If the rain stops for a little bit, we can still go out and shoot a few fireworks. The bottomline is that we have the chocie to make changes in our schedule to continue celebrating. It starts with having a passion and not giving up and continues with follow-through action.
