Project Safe Water – Help spread the word to flood victims

Program will end July 31, 2010 | Please help us spread the word to flood victims in Nebraska and Iowa.

A number of flood victims have inquired about the free water testing for their homes and wells.  Right now 125 kits have been sent out as of July 14, 2010 as part of the Project Safe Water project.

Some things I have noticed over the past few weeks:

  • Flood victims are concerned about their water and want to insure that their water is safe before using.
  • A number of people have picked up their kits at our location at 13611 B Street.  (Google Maps)
  • News of Project Safe Water has spread ver well through word of mouth  on Twitter, Facebook and Blogs
  • Also, other laboratories in the area are promoting the need for safe water and testing being a huge part of that.

Again, the focus for us is getting the message to the flood victims.  Any help you could provide in getting that message  out would be great.  Obtaining sampling kits can be done online or by phone, 402-334-7770 by asking  for Rob Ferris.
