connecting
Yesterday and today, the Midwest Laboratories Field Supervisors (SalesPeople) have been in town discussing their needs out in the sales territories. In addition, a number of items have been discussed with respect to taking care of clients needs and ways to continually improve service and communication not only to clients but within our own company.
Connecting and Reconnecting is necessary. Imagine a football team that used a no-huddle offense the whole game. Some teams go with a long snap count, (Indianapolis Colts) but they do meet briefly in the huddle to insure consistency. Connecting and reconnecting does take place everyday through phone and email. However, the best type of connecting is still face-to-face. For myself, it really helps me view reactions to different discussions and helps me decide to what level a person is really listening.
My point here, is you can expect some great things in the very near future from our discussions and the excitement for Midwest Laboratories clients and services always builds during our meetings. Our goal is to communicate these outcomes to our clients and our internal staff to bring everyone up to speed.
Connecting and Reconnecting – Do you have an example of a “huddle” experience that stands out in your mind and helped make a difference at your workplace. If so, please share.
