Midwest Laboratories not only performs analysis but also provides sample container and return shipping labels to its clients. A typical day consists of the shipping department sending 100-200 packages each afternoon to clients all over the country.
Meeting Client Needs
Some clients need weekly supplies and others monthly and quarterly. Clients have a choice when electing to receive supplies as they use them for their own testing.
Supplies
Supplies are a very broad term. Supplies can consist of soil bags, labels, hazmat paperwork, return labels, hard coolers, styrofoam coolers, bottle labels, plant bags, soil probes, cold hard packs, special containers and boxes. Depending upon the sample and the analysis, specific supply orders are processed, put together and shipped out to various client.
