Please be careful this week with your fireworks as part of your 4th of July celebration.
The dry conditions could contribute to grass fires like the one mentioned in this news report.
If you have purchased fireworks it might be a good idea to water your lawn and make sure water is available. In addition, it might be a good idea to coordinate with neighboors and to watch each others property to be on the alert and to take appropriate action if you see any unusual smoke with respect to fireworks being shot off.
