2012 has been the comeback year for biodiesel. Many companies are getting back into the business of producing biodiesel from feedstock. As petroleum prices continue to rise at the pump, more states and communities are looking for renewable fuel alternatives.
Biodiesel production is not a complicated process, but there are quite a few steps involved. The following video looks at the entire process and it really does a good job of explaining what is happening at each step.
I really like the way, the video shows the quality testing that is involved and is often not highlighted in the production process.
Over the years, the process has been refined and companies that have been in business for over three years are creating a high-standard product.
