One of the pitfalls of social media (and any web interaction, really) is that you don't get the face-to-face connection that you do offline. Looking someone in the eye (even via web video) and seeing facial movements makes all the difference. Be interesting to see how many "transparent folks" would be willing to appear in front of a camera... ;-) Video is a great way to be more transparent, Brent.
