Where are Midwest Laboratories Clients located?
I get this question a lot. When I tell them that our clients come from all parts of the United States , they wonder as to how we can effectively serve clients across the company. Here is the next question that usually follows: How can you serve national clients if you only have one location? Being centrally located is a huge plus, not only for shipping/receiving logistics but also for communicating with clients between different time zones. It is a process which includes not only analysis, but shipping, reporting online, staying connected through phone, email, social media, (yes social media). By constantly improving communication with clients on a daily basis, the personnel at Midwest Laboratories treats all clients as if they were local. I also need to mention that Midwest Laboratories also has a number of walk-in clients who drop off samples at our front door.
Is Midwest Laboratories a B2B or B2C?
It really bothers me when companies try to make sure you are in one category or the other. Aren’t all companies both B2B and B2C or would like to by both? Think about it! We take this approach with our communications. We work with large companies and we work with individual growers. When a company targets one or the other to a great extent, it may be missing out on the big picture.

This item has really been a key differential for Midwest Laboratories! Does any company feel they are adding value by automating their main phone number. For me the menu takes longer, its a game to get to a live voice and sometimes, its not even setup correctly. At Midwest Laboratories, a client always receives a live voice during business hours and will be transferred to a live person depending on the inquiry. The Client Services Staff handle a number of calls and may be busy, when a client calls, the nice thing is the client can leave a message to a specific client services representative. and that client
