Soda Fountains | Contain Fecal Bacteria

Bacteria in Soda Fountains…We hardly ever think of our Soda Fountains containing coliforms, but a recent study published by the International Journal of Food Microbiology,  consider this an issue to watch in 2010.

“Nearly half of the 90 beverages from soda fountain machines in one area in Virginia tested positive for coliform bacteria — which could indicate possible fecal contamination, according to a study published in the January issue of International Journal of Food Microbiology.”

    So first it was the mints, then the lemons, know the soda, is there any dining out options that don’t inculde a side of fecal contamination???
